One of the most beautiful buildings on the Ljubljanica River is certainly Plečnik's river barrier on Vrazov trg. In the shadow of the city bridges, completely new views of the city of Ljubljana open up from the river. In the direction upstream, we can first see the newer Grain Bridge and the better known Dragon`s Bridge, where we have a view of the Plečnik`s Market and the Ljubljana Bridge of Love, formerly better known as the Butcher's Bridge. When we sail under Tromostovje, a beautiful view of the Franciscan Church and the Prešeren Monument opens up from the water surface. The cruise takes us through old Ljubljana, where we can admire the historic river banks, which are intertwined with the urban pulse. In front of us is the famous Šuštarski bridge (Shoemaker`s bridge), which we all know from popular songs, we see the Hradecki bridge, which is better known to the people of Ljubljana as the Mortuary bridge due to its previous location next to the Ljubljana morgue. The cruise will take you to Špica, where on one side the Ljubljanica with Grubar's canal wraps around the castle hill, and with the other part the stream leads to the Ljubljana Marshes Landscape Park.
